The ‘NEW LANDSCAPE’ PROJECt
BY MIKE BERNARD
We are inherently part of the natural world but at the same time separated from it. This series explores this unsettling dichotomy of familiarity and strangeness that nature presents to us at night. Through the use of shallow depth of field and artificial light this series also considers how light and optics mediate our experience of the landscape.
